
Are you interested in learning about wildlife recording?
NBRC, in partnership with the Rockingham Forest Vision, will be hosting a series of guided walks on Saturday 13th May in Kings Wood, Corby with the help of county recorders and the Northamptonshire Natural History Society.
During these guided walks you will get an introduction to recording and identifying species. Each of these walks will focus on a specific group including Plants, Water Bugs, Diptera, Reptiles and Amphibians.
We will also be providing hands on sessions to show how you can use Photography for recording as well as introductions to microscopy to identify microorganisms.
This event is free to attend thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The paths at King’s Wood can be narrow and muddy. Unsuitable for wheelchair access

Camera or phone (Essential for photography workshop)
Please come prepared for mud and weather! Long sleeves and long trousers are advised, to avoid bites and stings, and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting muddy.
